This is a trailer that I put together for my upcoming documentary on spotted salamanders (Ambystoma maculatum). While not a rare salamander, they live a secretive life style underground throughout most of the year. Their vibrant yellow spots and large size makes them a stunning animal to see and worthy of a video! I don't know when I'll be uploading the whole documentary, but I wanted to upload this to show the future plans I have for other videos I'll be doing in the future. Hey everyone, finally back! I've been busy lately, but it's time to get back into it! I had another video planned originally, but this one ended up happening first. In this video we get to see some more lungless stream dwelling salamanders and this time the target is the Northern dusky salamander. They have a stocky build and have a muddy brown coloration with white flecks along the belly. They can get up to 4 1/2 inches, so it can be quite a big salamander!

A common salamander to find, but with a nice almost golden yellow color, this salamander is still a wonderful find!
